Wooden flooring has become increasingly popular in recent years. We believe that customers are realising the environmental as well as the visual impact that a real wooden floor gives, not to mention the strength and durability of the timber.

Flooring in itself is self explanatory, but the timber needs to be of good quality to avoid shakes, feathering and knots missing.

Inspection of the timber is carried out prior to making the floorboards; any substandard boards are omitted from the process. Once the boards have been made it is then a case of putting them in place. Most customers prefer them to be secret nailed and floor bradded to provide a perfect finish.

As well as equally sized boards we can also do a random boarding style to give the room a more traditional look. Whichever you choose it will look impressive, especially when finished off with wax and buffed up to give a lustrous shine.
